Granulate Flow Tester GT

The ERWEKA GT has been designed to determine flow properties of powders and granules according to four different measuring methods:

•

determination of flow time of the pre-defined sample weight (according to EP)

•

determination of flow time of the pre-defined sample volume

•

determination of weight of the sample which flows within a pre-defined time

•

ratio of flow time and sample weight presented in the form of graphical curve with a subsequent calculation of the cotangents of the flow angle a = arctan (weight/time) Qu

Where samples exhibit poor flowability, the hopper is available with a stirring device* with variable speed control.

ERWEKA GTB

The GTB offers in addition to the standard flow properties the measurement of the angle of repose according to Pfrengle: the powder or granulate falls onto a plate with a specified surface and creates a cone. An integrated driven laser measures the side wall of the built-up cone and the actual angle is calculated and displayed and/or printed.
